A few months ago, I shared the bittersweet reality that some of our Associate Editors were moving on, either because of the end of their terms, new editorial positions, or they had taken on wonderful new posts that were, sadly for us, at institutions not part of NCCN. To remind you, these Associate Editors are Sara H. Javid, MD; Ticiana A. Leal, MD; Oxana Palesh, PhD, MPH; Jeffrey Peppercorn, MD, MPH; and Grace L. Smith, MD, PhD, MPH. I am forever grateful to them for joining me when I started my editorial service with JNCCN and for being true partners in helping shape the new face and content of the journal.
But that left us with positions to fill. When we solicited nominees, we were pleased to receive a whopping 114 qualified nominations. Our review committee, which included Mary B. Daly, MD, PhD, and Tara Sanft, MD, did an outstanding job of winnowing these down, and then, with advice from NCCN leadership, we zoned in on the final 5 candidates. So today, I am delighted to announce the new slate of Associate Editors! Following are details about these individuals, including their positions at their institutions, their affiliations, and expertise:

We are so thrilled to welcome this new group to JNCCN, to join the remaining Associate Editors, June M. McKoy, MD, MPH, JD, MBA; Anthony J. Olszanski, MD, RPh; and Kanishka Sircar, MD! One of my first goals is to do some strategic planning with the team. I plan to revisit our mission and vision and, if needed, realign the features within JNCCN to harmonize appropriately. Everything will be on the table except one enduring item: the NCCN Guidelines. The journal was founded as a vehicle for disseminating the guidelines, and, for the NCCN Guidelines Panel members, having this periodic publication on their CVs is a source of justified pride.

MARGARET TEMPERO, MD
Margaret Tempero, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the UCSF Pancreas Center and editor-in-chief of JNCCN. Her research career has focused on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, especially in the area of investigational therapeutics. Dr. Tempero has served on the ASCO Board of Directors and as ASCO President. She currently serves on the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation Board. She codirected the AACR/ASCO Methods in Clinical Cancer Research and taught this course and similar courses in Europe and Australia. She was founding Chair of the NCI Clinical Oncology Study Section and served as a member and Chair of the NCI Board of Scientific Counselors Subcommittee A. She is a member of the Scientific Steering Committee and Chair of the Clinical and Translational Study Section for the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas. She is or has been on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the Lustgarten Foundation, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the V Foundation, The Alberta Canada Cancer Board, and the EORTC. She served as a member of the Oncology Drug Advisory Committee for the FDA. She has served as Deputy Director and Interim Director for the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center. She is Chief Emeritus of the Division of Medical Oncology at UCSF. She served as the founding Deputy Director and was later Director of Research Programs at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
